DV Sadananda Gowda and Narendra Singh Tomar
Narendra Singh Tomar and DV Sadananda Gowda - Following the demise of Union Minister and Karnataka BJP leader Ananth Kumar, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been given the additional charge of the ministry of parliamentary affairs and DV Sadananda Gowda that of the ministry of chemicals and fertilisers. Gowda is in charge of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Tomar holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Mines.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
Rs 75 Commemorative Coin - The government decided to release a Rs 75 commemorative coin on the occasion of 75th anniversary of the hoisting of Tricolour for the first time by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Port Blair. This 35-gram coin will bear the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose saluting the flag on the background of cellular jail. 


EXERCISE INDRA - The joint military exercise between Indian and Russia EXERCISE INDRA 2018 on combating insurgency under the aegis of United Nations (UN) is being conducted at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. 


India International Trade Fair - The 38th India International Trade Fair (IITF) will begin from 14 November at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The 14-day annual event will continue till 27th of this month. This year the theme of the fair is - Rural Enterprises in India. Afghanistan is the Partner Country, while Nepal will be the Focus Country. Jharkhand is participating as a Partner State in the event. 


India and Morocco Signed Extradition Agreement - India and Morocco signed extradition agreement in New Delhi. Minister of State for External Affairs Gen. V K Singh and Minister of Justice of Morocco, Mohamed Auajjar signed the agreement.


Research Team to Curb Fake News - Facebook-owned WhatsApp selected 20 research teams worldwide including experts from India who will work towards how misinformation spreads and what additional steps it could take to curb fake news. The Indian government recently directed WhatsApp to take necessary remedial measures to prevent proliferation of fake messages.


National Data Repository - Union Government has set up a state of -the- art National Data Repository. National Data Repository (NDR) is an integrated data repository of Exploration and Production (E&P) data of Indian sedimentary basins.
