MC Mary Kom - MC Mary Kom has created history by becoming the first woman to win six boxing world titles by clinching the 48 kg gold at the 2018 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Airport - The Uttarakhand Cabinet approved a proposal to rename Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport after former prime minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The proposal will now be tabled in the state assembly in the session starting from December 4. If cleared in the assembly, it will be sent to the Centre for approval.

Bullet Train From Chennai To Bangalore - German government has recently submitted a feasibility study to the Railway Board on a new bullet train project on the Chennai-Arakkonam-Bangalore-Mysore route. The report states that the 435-km distance can be covered in under three hours with a maximum speed of around 320 kmph. The project is likely to cost around Rs 1 lakh crore. 

US Report on Climate Changes - A major scientific report issued by 13 federal agencies presents the starkest warnings to date of the consequences of climate change for the United States, predicting that if significant steps are not taken to rein in global warming, the damage will knock as much as 10 percent off the size of the US economy by century’s end. Trump has vowed to pull the United States out of the Paris Agreement, under which nearly every country in the world pledged to cut carbon emissions.

Maldivian Foreign Minister Visited India - Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has arrived in New Delhi on a four-day visit to India. This is the first high-level visit from Male after the new government took office. The Maldivian Foreign Minister is visiting India with the aim to repair the bilateral ties which came under severe strain during the previous government in the island nation. 

Agro-Vision Exhibition - 10th Agro-Vision Exhibition, central India’s biggest agricultural exhibition will be held in Nagpur. State chief minister Mr Devendra Fadanvis will inaugurate this exhibition. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mr Yogi Adityanath, Union Agricultural Minister Mr Radhamohan Singh, Union Home Minister for (State) Mr Hansraj Ahir will attend the exhibition.

Centre for Innovation - With China having set up its first naval base in Djibouti, India is making small moves to establish its own presence in the country. Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh inaugurated a centre of entrepreneurship and innovation built by India. In November 2016, India had provided a $5 million grant to build an incubation centre in Djibouti.

NASA planning to send human in Space - National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States is planning to send humans to space for the first time in eight years, in a historic flight through SpaceX Crew Dragon. Prior to the historic launch, as a part of the preparation, the space agency will shoot out a test flight on January 7, 2019. The SpaceX will send its Crew Dragon capsule on its maiden voyage to the International Space Station.

World Conference on Lung Health - The 50th Union World Conference on Lung Health will be held in Hyderabad. The conference 'Ending the Emergency: Science, Leadership, Action' which will start in October 2019, the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease stated.

India Skills Report - Andhra Pradesh has topped the list of states with the highest employability followed by Rajasthan and Haryana, as per the India Skills Report 2019. The survey was conducted jointly by Wheebox, PeopleStrong, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
