Prime Minister will Visit Singapore - Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Regional Economic Cooperation Partnership (RCEP) meeting and the ASEAN summit in Singapore and hold talks with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Modi will also attend the East Asia Summit (EAS). The Prime Minister will launch a platform to connect Indian Fintech companies with ASEAN banks and financial institutions.

Regional Economic Cooperation Partnership (RCEP) – RCEP is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and the six Asia-Pacific states with which ASEAN has existing free trade agreements (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand).

Prime Minister will Visit Maldives - Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will travel to Male on November 17 to attend the swearing-in ceremony of new Maldivian president, indicating an attempt to mend bilateral ties, which nosedived under the outgoing Abdulla Yameen government. The four-yearly review of the Montreal Protocol, a 1987 ban on man-made gases including chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) that damage the fragile high-altitude ozone layer, found long-term decreases in the atmospheric abundance of controlled ozone-depleting substances and the ongoing recovery of stratospheric ozone.

Rosogolla Day - The West Bengal government has decided to observe ‘Rosogolla Day’ on November 14 to commemorate the first anniversary of the State’s famous sweet getting Geographical Indication (GI) tag as ‘Bengal’s Rosogolla’.

Disinvestment of Enemy Property - In a bid to boost disinvestment receipts, the Cabinet gave its approval to sell Enemy Property worth Rs 3,000 crore. According to the Enemy Property Bill of 1968, ‘Enemy property’ refers to any property belonging to, held or managed on behalf of an enemy, an enemy subject or an enemy firm.

Snowfall Declared natural calamity - The Jammu and Kashmir government declared the heavy snowfall earlier this week as state-specific "special natural calamity" to streamline providing relief and assistance to farmers affected by the unexpected event
