Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman - India foiled Pakistan's attempt to target its military installations and shot down one Pakistani Air Force F-16 fighter aircraft. In this engagement, the country has unfortunately lost one MiG 21 and one Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was taken into custody by the Pakistan Army.

NASA Will Launch Mission For Space Weather - NASA has selected a $42 million mission that will help scientists understand and, ultimately, forecast the vast space weather system around our planet. The Atmospheric Waves Experiment (AWE) mission will cost $42 million and is planned to launch in August 2022, attached to the exterior of the Earth-orbiting International Space Station (ISS).
