1.            The Reserve Bank of India on April 5, 2018 released its First Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement 2018-19. Six members Monetary Policy Committee decided to keep the Repo Rate unchanged at 6.0 percent. India’s real gross domestic product (GDP) growth marginally upward to 6.6% from 6.5%. Retail inflation fell from a high of 5.1% in January to 4.4% in February due to a decline in inflation in food and fuel.

2.            Senior advocate Indu Malhotra took oath as a Judge of the Supreme Court. She is the first woman lawyer to be directly appointed from the Bar as a Judge in the Apex Court. 
3.            The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) was awarded the National Intellectual Property Award, 2018 for being the top research and development organisation for patents and commercialisation.
4.            Jailed Egyptian photographer Mahmoud Abu Zeid, popularly known as Shawkan, won the 2018 Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO). 
5.            2018 Pulitzer Prize in the Public Service was shared by ‘The New York Times’ and ‘The New Yorker’. 
6.            Bollywood actor Dharmendra will be conferred with the prestigious Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement award and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani will be conferred with the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution award.
7.            The 65th National Film Awards were announced by the jury headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. Amit V Masurkar's ‘Newton’ movie won the Best Hindi language film award. Ganesh Acharya won the award for Best Choreography. The movie ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ by SS Rajamouli won in three categories- Best Action Direction, Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Special Effects. Sridevi was posthumously awarded with the Best Actress award for her movie ‘Mom’ and the Dada Saheb Phalke Award went to late veteran actor Vinod Khanna. Best Feature Film - Village Rockstar (Assamese). Best Director - Jayaraj for Bhayanakam. Best Actor - Riddhi Sen for Nagarkirtan. Best Actress - Sridevi for Mom. 8.            India has emerged as the top recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) from within the Commonwealth and is the second-most lucrative source of investment within the 53-member organisation after the UK, according to a new trade review.
9.            The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) and University of Delhi feature among the world's top 200 universities, according to a joint study by ASSOCHAM and Yes Institute. The study revealed that while only two Indian educational institutions featured in the top 200, 49 American institutions featured in the list followed by 30 from the United Kingdom.
10.        China's out-of-control space station, Tiangong-1, is scheduled to re-enter Earth between March 31 and April 1.
11.        The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) concluded in London, United Kingdom on April 20, 2018. The two-day summit, formally inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II, saw in attendance 53 heads of Government including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event will be held in London and Windsor. The theme of the summit was 'Towards a Common Future'. 
12.        India Mobile Congress (IMC) is scheduled to be held from October 25-27, 2018 in New Delhi.
13.        The 16th International Energy Forum (IEF) ministerial meeting began in New Delhi. The event was formally inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The theme of the forum is "The Future of Global Energy Security: Transition, Technology, Trade and Investment”.
14.        The first international conference on ‘Water, Environment and Climate Change: Knowledge Sharing and Partnership’ was inaugurated in Kathmandu, Nepal.
15.        The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development constituted a committee under the Chairmanship of Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh to eliminate the fear of maths among the students.
16.        The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) constituted a High Powered Committee to examine the entire system of conducting Class X and Class XII examinations, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Vinay Sheel Oberoi, retired Secretary of Higher Education, MHRD, will be the Chairperson of the 7 member High Power Committee.
17.        The World Book and Copyright Day observed across the world on April 23, 2017 to highlight the power of books. UNESCO designated Athens, Greece as the World Book Capital for 2018. .
18.        World Health Day was observed across the world on April 7, 2018. The day also marks the 70th anniversary of World Health Organisation. The theme of World Health Day is ‘Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere’ and the slogan is ‘Health for All’.
19.        The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace was observed across the world on April 6, 2018.
20.        The World Autism Awareness Day was observed across the world on April 2, 2018. The theme of World Autism Awareness Day 2018 was 'Empowering Women and Girls with Autism'.
21.        Indian and Malaysian armies will be conducting the joint training exercise ‘HARIMAU SHAKTI 2018’ in Malaysia.
22.        The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the navigation satellite IRNSS-1I. The satellite was put into orbit on the PSLV-C41 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Eighth in the series, IRNSS-1I completes the first phase of the Indian regional navigation constellation. IRNSS-1I is one of the navigation satellites to be launched in the ‘NavIC’ (Navigation with Indian Constellation) navigation fleet. The NavIC satellites are considered as India's own GPS.
23.        The Indian Air Force conducts one of its biggest war exercises 'Gaganshakti' from April 8 to April 22, 2018. Gaganshakti, a force level exercise, is conducted once in every two years. The first phase of the exercise will focus on Northern borders and second phase will be carried out to check preparedness in case of a war-like situation along the Western borders.
24.        The Indo-Korean joint anti-piracy exercise 'SAHYOG- HYEOBLYEOG 2018' was conducted on April 5, 2018 off the Chennai coast.
25.        Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that April 28 will be remembered as a historic day in the development journey of India as on this day, every single village of India was electrified. Leisang, a village in central Manipur's Senapati district, was the last one to receive electricity under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY).

26.        The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi launched the Van Dhan Scheme of Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) during the celebrations of Ambedkar Jayanti at Bijapur, Chattisgarh.  
27.        The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of the NITI Aayog launched the Atal New India Challenge with an aim to bring-in innovations and technologies relevant to the people. As a part of the Atal New India Challenge, applicants showing capability, intent and potential to productise the technologies will be awarded grants up to Rs 1 crore. 
28.        The Union Government and World Bank signed a $125 million agreement for the ‘Innovate in India for Inclusiveness Project’ to support India in developing an innovative biopharmaceutical and medical devices industry, which is globally competitive.
29.        On the occasion of the National Panchayati Raj Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 24, 2018 launched the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan Scheme to strengthen the panchayat system and tackle the gaps that hinder its success.
30.        The Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (AFSPA) was completely removed from Meghalaya and some areas of Arunachal Pradesh with effect from April 1, 2018. 
31.        Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the 29th National Road Safety Week starting from April 23 to April 29, 2018. The theme for the road safety week for the 2018 is is 'Sadak Suraksha - Jeevan Raksha'.
32.        President Ram Nath Kovind promulgated the Fugitive Economic Offenders Ordinance, which will allow the government to confiscate properties and assets of loan defaulters who flee the nation. The provision will apply for economic offenders who refuse to return, persons against whom an arrest warrant has been issued for a scheduled offence as well as willful bank loan defaulters with an outstanding of over Rs 100 crore.
33.        Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairperson M Venkaiah Naidu rejected the impeachment notice submitted by the Opposition parties against Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra. In a first, seven opposition parties led by the Indian National Congress had submitted a notice.
34.        The World Bank released the Global Findex Report 2017 indicating that 55 percent of new bank accounts opened globally are from India itself. The Global Findex Report analyses data of 144 economies to demonstrate that how people use financial services. India witnessed a great jump in the account ownership during 2014-2017 as 80 percent Indians owned a bank account in 2017; there were only 35 percent bank account holders in 2011.
35.        The Union Government formed a new integrated institutional mechanism, Defence Planning Committee (DPC) to reform the process of higher defence planning. The permanent body would be chaired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. It will comprise the chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC), three service chiefs and the Defence, Expenditure and Foreign Secretaries.
36.        Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an official visit to Sweden on April 16-17, 2018 at the invitation of Stefan Lofven, Sweden’s Prime Minister. During the visit, both the sides also hosted the ‘India-Nordic Summit: Shared Values, Mutual Prosperity’ on April 17, 2018. The summit was attended by all Nordic Prime Ministers- PM Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark, PM Juha Sipila of Finland, PM Katrin Jakobsdottir of Iceland and PM Erna Solberg of Norway. India and Sweden signed the Joint Declaration on India-Sweden Innovation Partnership for a Sustainable Future. 
37.        The Union Government announced to constitute a Task Force under the Chairmanship of Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, for fast-tracking the roll-out of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology. The 13 member Task Force will consist of following representatives from various ministries, PSUs, industries and sectoral experts.
38.        The Union Cabinet approved the MoU between India and the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland on the return of Illegal Migrants.
39.        Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 10, 2018 addressed the National Convention of Swachhagrahis at Motihari, Bihar. The meeting was organized as a part of the centenary celebrations of the Champaran Satyagraha.
40.        Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport entered the club of the top 20 airports across the world, as per the Airport Council International’s preliminary report on airport traffic for 2017, published on April 9, 2018. Indira Gandhi International Airport climbed up from the 22nd to the 16th position as the busiest airport in the world this year. Atlanta Airport was ranked as the world’s busiest airport.
41.        Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India's first 12,000 horsepower electric locomotive from  Madhepura locomotive factory of Bihar. This all-electric high-speed locomotive was made with the help of French company Alstom under 'Make In India' Project at Madhepura Rail Loco factory of Bihar.
42.        India and Bangladesh signed an agreement to set up a 129.5 km oil pipeline aimed at pumping oil from India to Bangladesh with a capacity of 1 million metric tons per annum. This 129.5-km long oil pipeline will be built from the Siliguri Marketing Terminal of the Numaligarah Refinery Ltd (NRL) in India to the Parbaripur depot of the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
43.        Union Government, Maharashtra Government and the World Bank signed a USD 420 million project agreement to help small and marginal farmers in the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra. 
44.        Union Minister of Railways and Coal Piyush Goyal launched the UTTAM App for Coal Quality Monitoring.  The word 'UTTAM' is abbreviated as 'Unlocking Transparency by Third Party Assessment of Mined Coal'.
45.        Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2018 in various categories on the basis of performance of higher educational institutions. The Indian Institute of Sciences, Bengaluru topped the list of Overall Rankings followed by IIT Madras at 2nd position. IISc Bangaluru also topped the University rankings, followed  by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Benares Hindu University at second and third position, respectively. 
46.        As per World Bank’s Migration and Development Brief, India received the highest remittances of USD 69 billion followed by China at second (USD 64 billion) in 2017. 
47.        The Union Government plans to set up a Gas Trading Hub / Exchange (GTHE) by October 2018. The hub would be used for the trade and supply of natural gas through a market-based mechanism. Currently, the government fixes the price of the bulk of domestically produced natural gas using the price prevalent in gas-surplus nations such as US, Canada, UK, and Russia.
48.        As per the World Bank’s South Asia Economic Focus Spring 2018 report, Indian economy has recovered from the impact of demonetisation and the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax regime and is projected to grow by 7.3 percent in 2018 and 7.5 percent in 2019.
49.        The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on April 5, 2018 directed all the entities regulated by it including banks to stop providing services to businesses dealing in virtual currencies such as bitcoin in its first bi-monthly monetary policy review of 2018-19, in order to protect consumer interest and check money laundering.
50.        As per the government, 97.05 lakh subscribers have enrolled under Atal Pension Yojana (APY) at the end of Financial Year 2017-18. It just missed the target of 1 crore set by the pension regulator PFRDA. 

51.        In a first, India and Pakistan will jointly take part in 'Peace Mission-2018', a multi-nation counter-terror war game, under the aegis of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Russia in August 2018. Peace Mission-2018 will also see the participation of China, Russia and other SCO countries. The exercise will be held in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia from August 22 to August 29, 2018. Peace Mission-2018 will be conducted under the framework of the SCO's Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS), which is headquartered in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
52.        The first-ever informal meet between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping began on April 27, 2018 at Hubei Provincial Museum, in the city of Wuhan in China.
53.        North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in on April 27, 2018 signed a landmark peace agreement namely, ‘Panmunjeom Declaration’ for the "complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula". In a historic first, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on April 27, 2018 crossed the border that separates the two Koreas at the demilitarized zone (DMZ) to enter South Korea, becoming the first North Korean leader to step into South Korean territory since 1953.
54.        North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared on April 21, 2018 that the nation would be halting its nuclear tests and intercontinental missile launches and will shut down its atomic test site.
55.        The Reporters Without Borders (RSF) released the World Press Freedom Index 2018. India’s rank dropped down to 138th this year from 136th in 2017, two points below the previous year. Index has been topped by Norway again for the second year, followed by Sweden at second and the Netherlands at third.
56.        The Commonwealth Countries unanimously adopted the Commonwealth Cyber Declaration. The leaders of 53 countries agreed to work closely to strengthen their cybersecurity frameworks and response mechanisms by 2020.
57.        The TIME Magazine released the 100 Most Influential People List of 2018 designating individuals whose time is now. The 2018 list features the names of four self-made Indians- Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal and Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella.
58.        Swaziland’s King Mswati III, Africa’s last absolute monarch officially changed the name of his country to the ‘Kingdom of eSwatini’. 
59.        China proposed the construction of the India-Nepal-China Economic Corridor with multi-dimensional connectivity through the Himalayas. China and Nepal have already signed a MoU on the China's multi-billion-dollar One Belt and One Road Initiative (BRI), which includes connectivity cooperation.
60.        As per the 2018 Commonwealth Innovation Index, India fetched 10th position in the index topped by the United Kingdom, Singapore and Canada.
61.        United Nations’ Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed announced the launch of the ‘UN Road Safety Trust Fund’ to stimulate action that can save lives and prevent injuries and sufferings associated with road accidents.
62.        The United States along with Britain and France launched a combined military operation against Syria on April 14, 2018. The military operation is in response to an alleged chemical attack in Douma, a Syrian town near Damascus.

66.        India received its first LNG cargo from the US under a long-term supply deal. GAIL India has contracted 3.5 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from US energy firm Cheniere Energy's Sabine Pass liquefaction facility in Louisiana.
67.        India is now the second-largest mobile phone producer in the world after China according to Indian Cellular Association. India replaced Vietnam to become the second largest producer of mobile phones in 2017. 
68.        The Mangalore International Airport has been adjudged the cleanest airport in the country. Survey was conducted by Airports Authority of India (AAI).
69.        The United States and South Korea began their joint military training exercise named 'Foal Eagle.
70.        SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) has celebrated its foundation day on 2 April. SIDBI also launched 'Samridhhi- the virtual assistant' on banks. ‘Bankability Kit’ (brought in partnership with Bank of Baroda and IDBI Bank) was also launched.
71.        Jana Small Finance Bank (formerly Janalakshmi Financial Services) announced commencement of its banking operations. Ramesh Ramanathan is the chairman of Jana Group. Jana Small Finance Bank headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
72.        Debjani Ghosh, former managing director of Intel South Asia, is the new president of Nasscom.
73.        Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is in Russia to attend the 7th Moscow Conference on International Security. 
74.        According to report released by global startup ecosystem map Startupblink, India was ranked 37th out of 125 countries in global startup ecosystem in 2017. The list, measuring startup ecosystem strength and activity, was topped by the United States followed by the United Kingdom. 
75.        Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has been ranked 19th on Bloomberg Billionaires Top 100 Index as he becomes the third richest Asian on the list. From Asia, Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma (ranked 13th) is the richest with a net worth of $47.2 billion. While Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has added $21.8 billion to his fortunes this year and takes the top spot, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was ranked 2nd.

76.        Jio Payments Bank Limited has commenced operations as a payments bank. The Reserve Bank has issued a licence to the bank under Section 22 (1) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to carry on the business of payments bank in India.
77.        The 21st edition of the Commonwealth Games begun in Gold Coast, Australia, with a colourful opening ceremony. Carrara Stadium has been chosen as the venue to host the opening ceremony. Indian flag-bearer was P V Sindhu. Weightlifter and current world champion Mirabai Chanu has clinched India’s first gold medal of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

78.        External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has begun her three-day visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Baku.
79.        Subrata Bhattacharjee has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Serbia.

84.        India emerged as the third most vulnerable country in terms of risk of cyber threats in 2017, according to a report by security solutions provider Symantec. The U.S. (26.61%) was most vulnerable to such attacks, followed by China (10.95%).
85.        Defence Ministry has cleared contracts worth 2,420 crore rupees for Navy and Army which includes the procurement of P-8I Training Solution and Low-Intensity Conflict Electronic Warfare System (LICEWS).

90.        The Reserve Bank of India switched back to the gross domestic product (GDP)-based measure to offer its growth estimates from the gross value added (GVA) methodology, citing global best practices. The government had started analysing growth estimates using GVA methodology from January 2015 and had also changed the base year to 2018 from January.
91.        India’s foreign exchange reserves hit a life-time high of 424.361 billion US dollar in the week to March 30.

94.        The government has amended Income Tax rules that will now allow transgenders to be recognised as an independent category of applicants for obtaining a Permanent Account Number (PAN) for their tax-related transactions.
95.        President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari inaugurated an International Conference on Human Rights in South Asia in Kathmandu. The theme of the conference is "Identifying Challenges, Assessing Progress, Moving Forward: Addressing Impunity and Realizing Human Rights in South Asia".
96.        An international conference on ‘Water, Environment and Climate Change: Knowledge Sharing and Partnership’ started in Kathmandu, Nepal. 
97.        President Ram Nath Kovind held delegation-level talks with Swaziland King Mswati III in Mbabane. India and Swaziland signed two agreements on health and visa waiver. President Kovind was conferred with 'Order of the Lion', the highest award of Swaziland.
98.        The State Bank of India will be investing a total of Rs 80 billion in the Arun III hydropower project of Nepal, which has 900 megawatts (MW) electricity production capacities.

113.    India has jumped 13 places in the last one year to 130th spot in the latest annual Index of Economic Freedom released by a top American think-tank the Heritage Foundation. The top 3 countries in the list are Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand.
114.    Nation remembers Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 127th birth anniversary. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution of India, was born on 14th April 1891 at Mhow in Madhya Pradesh
115.    On the occasion of Birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the phase one of the Ayushman Bharat schemes that aim at creating a healthy, prosperous and strong India. The first phase of Ayushman Bharat will see 1.5 Lakh such Centers being set up across the country. The Prime Minister also launched Health and Wellness Centre under Ayushman Bharat scheme in Jangala village of Karnataka. 
116.    India and Russia signed 7 MoUs at Defence Expo at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The MoUs were signed during third India-Russia Military-Industrial Conference held on the sidelines of DefExpo 2018.
117.    Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched the web-based application e-FRRO (e-Foreigners Regional Registration Office) scheme under which foreigners can avail, various visa and immigration-related services online. 
118.    India finished third in the medals tally at the Commonwealth Games 2018 with 66 medals (26 Gold, 20 Silver and 20 Bronze). Only Australia with 198 medals and England with 136 were ahead. India's maximum medals came from shooting (16), followed by wrestling (12) and weightlifting (9).

119.    The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed an MoU with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to provide skill training to 500 youth and women at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu.
120.    Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched new products such as pre-approved credit card and UPI solution to mark its 124th foundation day. Bank announced its UPI partnership with the expense management app WALNUT that comes embedded with features such as bill reminders, bill-split and instant paperless loans.
121.    The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM 2018) has begun in London, the UK. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the event on 19th and 20th of April. The theme of the summit is 'Towards a Common Future'. The biennial event has brought together delegates from 53 Commonwealth nations.
122.    As part of the drive to double the income of farmers by 2022, the government has raised the authorised capital of NABARD by six times from 50 billion to Rs 300 billion to help it increase its lending to the rural economy.

128.    Yes Bank has announced the launch of ‘Yes GST’, an OD (over draft) facility for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Through this, an MSME can avail OD up to Rs 1 crore, based on their annual turnover, backed by GST returns.

137.    The country’s biggest lender, State Bank of India (SBI) has come up with an alternate and convenient method of cash withdrawal for its customers. The bank is now providing facilities of cash through ‘Cash@POS’ initiative. A customer can withdraw Rs 1000 in Tier I and Tier II cities whereas Rs 2000 can be withdrawn in Tier 3 to Tier 6 cities per day per card.

Becoming the first corporate to be part of the initiative, Dalmia Bharat will look after the operations and the maintenance of these heritage sites for the next five years.
165.    Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling became the longest-serving Chief Minister in India, surpassing the record of Jyoti Basu, who served as West Bengal CM from 1977 to 2000. Chamling became the Chief Minister in December 1994 and belongs to the Sikkim Democratic Front.
166.    One97 Communications Limited, the owner of digital payment major, Paytm, announced the launch of its offline payments solution - the Paytm Tap Card, in line with the company's vision to provide seamless payments solutions for non-internet customers. 174.    The government said it will launch the first tranche of sovereign gold bonds for the current fiscal on April 16, offering a 2.5% annual interest to investors. The tenure of bonds will be for a period of eight years, with exit option from the fifth year. As low as 1 gram of gold can be invested, with the maximum limit that can be subscribed by an individual or Hindu undivided family fixed at 4 kg per fiscal.
175.    S&P Global Ratings revised Japan’s outlook to ‘positive’ from ‘stable’ as the country’s stronger economy sets the stage for fiscal improvement. S&P Global Ratings affirmed its ‘A+’ long-term rating.
176.    Convinced that goods and services tax (GST) data should be under government control, the GST Council will take up a proposal to increase the Centre’s and state governments’ shareholding in the firm to ensure the controlling stake of GST Network (GSTN) is vested with the government. Currently, the Centre and state governments each hold 24.5% stake in the company. The remaining 51% is held by HDFC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, NSE Strategic Investment Co and LIC Housing Finance. GSTN acts as the IT backbone for the new indirect tax regime. It is also a repository of sensitive information of over 1 crore taxpayers.
